June 16th (Tuesday) 4:00pm - 6:00pm: Parisitology 6:00pm – 7:00pm: Dinner 7:00pm – 9:00pm: Herd Health and Nutrition Woolwich Grange 15 Mountain Road, Woolwich ME Speaker: David Pugh, DVM, Fort Dodge Animal Health. D.G. Pugh received his MS (nutrition) and DVM degrees from the University of Georgia in 1981. He continued training in equine nutrition at Virginia Tech and Theriogenology at Texas A & M University. Dr. Pugh has held faculty positions at the University of Georgia (Assistant Professor) and Auburn University (Professor of Theriogenology), and was the owner of a multi- person large animal practice in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area for five years. He is the author of 640 publications (90 in refereed journals), 57 book chapters, and one textbook, and is the recipient of five teaching awards and two national speaking awards. Dr. Pugh is a Diplomate of both the American College of Theriogenology and the American College of Veterinary Nutrition. He is also a part-time donkey/mule breeder and wrestling coach, full-time husband to Ms. Jayne Pugh since 1974, and the father of two daughters and a son.
